Middleton Place Inn and Magnolia Gardens Wedding - Charleston Wedding Photographer | Carey and Chad

Carey and Chad’s Intimate Magnolia Gardens Wedding

A right-swipe on Tinder, 10+ bars to find the UVA vs. Miami game and two years later, they're here: The Inn at Middleton Place and Magnolia Gardens, surrounded by a small group of their closest family and friends...and Chad fulfilling what everyone claimed he'd do: cry when seeing Carey and cry during toasts. Thank you to Elm Events for designing and coordinating such a beautiful events.

Pepper Plantation Wedding - Charleston Wedding Photographer | Kiley and Brian

Kiley and Brian’s Boho Pepper Plantation Wedding

Brian tried more than once to have Kiley fall for him; he showed up with flowers, had THE conversation...and yet Kiley just wasn't there…yet.

Fast forward a bit later and the two were on the same missions team in Nicaragua and Brian pulled Kiley's name from a hat as his prayer partner for the time building up to the trip. Kiley told me "By the time Brian knelt before me, I knew I already loved him. Our time in Nicaragua had opened my heart and washed away fears I had harbored for over a year." So one deployment (for 6 months!) and many months later, here we are. Here I am at my computer, drinking wine, re-living some of my favorite portraits and a day that again, was such an honor to document and be present for.

Gosh, I just don't even know what to say about this day. I've gotten to know Kiley over the last year or so and...I just want to cry (happy tears) after this day. I truly believe every wedding day is special but this day...it just seemed so long in the making, so God-driven, God-aligned...an accumulation of so much prayer and believing in God's grace and favor.

Pepper Plantation Wedding - Charleston Wedding Photographer | Jenna and Mitch

Jenna and Mitch’s Pepper Plantation Winter Wedding

When I met Jenna and Mitch at the Yoj Events, I left feeling giddy, hoping they'd pick me. It's like a weird triple blind date where a friend (Yoj) sets you up on a date, thinking you might like each other. Thankfully the connection was mutual and I got to work with these two over the following months, getting excited about a day that was flawless.

Yoj, thanks for making the Pavillion at Pepper Plantation look magical and thank you Jenna and Mitch for letting me tell your story.
