Jenna is sweet and caring, Ryan is joyful and considerate.
Photographing them was a reminder of why I love doing this, why I feel honored and blessed by the couples that I work with, that I'm able to give back a small reminder of the love that began their relationship in the first place, the love that can change people, can impact families and bring joy to those around them. I loved the process of actually photographing and having Jenna in front of my camera at her bridal session and knew the wedding day wouldn't be any different. Big thanks to my fabulous second shooter, Dana, who stuck with me and jumped into some odd places for photos. I hope these photos are able to show you just what I saw in these two and how wonderful it was to be alongside of them!
Jenna's future sister-in-law, Britta did Jenna's makeup and completely rocked it out! Britta and her mom gave Jenna a monogrammed necklace and clearly Jenna adored it
Jenna is a kindergarden teacher and had some of her students as her adorable flower girls
One of my favorite moments was when the church doors opened and I could see Jenna say 'oh my gosh!' Completely overjoyed at what she say before her, all the people who came out to celebrate her and Ryan's marriage
Since Jenna and Ryan met at Seacoast Church, they wanted to have a response time for all their guests, just like Seacoast does after their sermons. Guests were invited to come to the front and take communion, light candles and leave their prayers and burdens at the cross, as a way to respond to what they had just seen and heard. This will absolutely be happening at my wedding!
This photo! Aah! I just love it!
This wedding party photo...pure joy.
Golden lighting? Yes please!
I love seeing Jenna's mom watch the father/daughter dance
I'm photographing Colleen's (on the left) wedding in a few short weeks and Michelle's (on the right) in October
And as always!
A little vendor love
