I've always loved what Bob Goff says about extravagant love: "Love is never stationary. In the end, love doesn't just keep thinking about it or keep planning for it. Simply put: love does"
Robyn and Jeff met years ago at a wedding in Cancun, Mexico. Jeff wrote Robyn a letter once the week was over letting he know how much he loved getting to know her. And then years later, they got married on the same beach where they first met.
But what happened in-between those two weddings was what really mattered:
They continued to get to know each other, ran (literal) races together, challenged each other to train and PUSH themselves, Jeff came to South Carolina to help take care of Robyn's sister when she got sick and Robyn did the same when Jeff's sister was diagnosed with the same cancer. They DO. They are a couple that takes love as a verb and runs with it.
And even with me: I don't think I'll be able to express the gratitude I have for Robyn, Jeff and the Galvan clan for not only bringing me to Mexico to document their wedding but for bringing me there for their entire wedding week to simply relax, soak up the sun and simply do nothing at the amazing resort we all stayed at. Talk about extravagant love!
AND these two take marriage hardcore and finished an IRONMAN (!!!) competition yesterday. Crazy. Incredible.
Introducing: the beautiful, loving (and incredibly fit): Robyn and Jeff
As (sunburned) always
