two thousand and twelve
I decided to take the first four days of the new year off from shooting and meetings to work from home, catching up on blogging, emails and editing. Although I've been in front of the computer a lot, it's been nice to have some time to think, pray, and clear my mind. In 2012, I worked more than ever and despite the late nights emailing, hour upon hours of editing and an aching body after shooting a full-day wedding, I completely loved it.
To put things in numerical perspective, 2012 held:
31 photo sessions
1 styled shoot
1 personal series
WHAT. IN. THE. WORLD?!
I continued freelancing for Riverland Studios, managed by my good friend Juliet and her husband Mat, while also shooting for CarolineRo. 2013, like it will for many, will hold changes for CarolineRo. First, I have Joanna at Waterfall Creative working on some tweaks for the site to create a cleaner look. In addition, I'm diving into marketing, my internal organization and workflow has been reorganized and I'll be really emphasizing my storytelling viewpoint in all future sessions and weddings. (Read about that in my last post here) And, the final detail, (that I hope you all will enjoy) I'll be posting here more! For now, I'm including some of my favorite photos from the year below-the links to the original posts are included. It isn't close to everything I worked on but I think it gives a good look into the past year.
I am so appreciative of everyone who reads this and keeps up with my work-it means a ton!
Leave a comment below with your favorite session+wedding of the year...I have a hunch at which will win!
