The alignment for Caroline+Derek to end up marrying at Lowndes Grove was truly kismet. As a child, Caroline found images of the gorgeous property in a magazine and cut them out, confident she’d one day get married there. It wasn’t until years later, when she was on a tour of the property, that she realized she was inside that very same home; the space that she first laid eyes upon over fifteen years earlier.
So it was perfectly aligned that Caroline and Derek would exchange vows on a Spring day, overlooking the Ashley River.
