Lily and Brian’s Catskills wedding weekend started the day before with the loveliest of rehearsal dinners. A tight-knit crew was invited and dined on the deck of the Ankony Carriage House overlooking hills rolling into the Hudson River. The sun slowly set, creating a glowing golden hour, which was the perfect backdrop for dinner and a few toasts from family. And yet all of this was just a precursor for what was to come the following day. Skies were bright blue and the air was crisp, perfect weather for a wedding at the Ankony Carriage House. Lily got ready upstairs with her bridesmaids while Brian and his guys tied their bowties and slipped into their jackets down the street in Rhinebeck. After exchanging vows, that same golden hour light returned, creating what felt like the warmest and holiest of portraits for the newlyweds. Guests were ushered into a tented reception with greenery galore, toasts that made everyone laugh so hard they cried and dancing to the songs of a 12-piece band.
